How Did You Find Me?

How did you find me?
Through crowded doors and painted halls
Where lies live
Among the whores and addicts
I did not ask for you
I did not want you to know
That I have this life

How did you find me?
You reached for me
Just to be met with disgust
You and your mission
You claim to be my savior
But there are no gods

How did you find me?
I was buried
My soul long since lost
And my body
Just bones wrapped in womanflesh
Which was fed upon by wolves

How did you find me?
Piecing my parts together
A jigsaw puzzle long forgotten
But not by you

How did you find me?
How did you make those pieces fit?
That were so scattered
You waited until I was ready
To help you pick them up

How did you find me?
I do not know
(I suppose I never will)

But you did

Find me

Waited for me

And made me want to be whole again.
